MAINTENANCE
If you drop the washer, carefully inspect it for damage. If you see
any condition that may affect the washer’s operation, contact your
local Authorized Service Center for repairs before putting it back
into use.
CAUTION: Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline,
petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact
with plastic parts. They contain chemicals that can damage, weaken
or destroy plastic.
Fertilizers and other garden chemicals contain agents which greatly
accelerate the corrosion of metals. Do not store the tool on or adja-
cent to fertilizers or chemicals.
If the nozzle becomes clogged it will cause the pump pressure to increase
and possibly distort the spray pattern. Clean the nozzle immediately if
this should this happen.
Remove the nozzle from the spray lance.
Clear the nozzle with the nozzle cleaning pin.
Flush the nozzle with water.
Reconnect the nozzle to the spray lance.
If the nozzle is still clogged, repeat the above steps.
WARNING: Use the nozzle cleaning pin only with the nozzle
disconnected from the spray lance. Failure to heed this warning could
result in serious injury.
IMPORTANT: To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY,
repairs, maintenance and adjustment should be performed by a qualified
individual using identical replacement parts.
