5.3 About Battery and Charging
• Long storage of batteries in the video camera, even not in use, will cause the battery
power
to decrease. And long connection of the batteries to the video camera will
cause
excessive discharge, in which case the battery cannot be used even it is
recharged. There
fore, if you do not use your video camera, please remove the
batt
eries and put them in a cool and dry place with relatively stable temperature.
• Do not use the batteries not bundled with the video camera. Cooled under low
temperature (10 or lower), the bundled lithium battery may have shortened operating
time according to its characteristics and possibly cannot work normally. Under this
occasion, please
warm up the battery appropriately before using the video camera.
• Extreme temperature will shorten the service life of the battery.
• Please confirm the polarity before correct installation of the battery.
• Do not strip off or damage the battery packaging or housing.
5.4 About Memory Card
The external card supported by this camera is SD card.
• To use a new SD card, you have to format it firstly.
• Maloperation may cause damage to or deletion of the data recorded.
The
loss arising from deletion of recorded data will not be the manufacturer's
re
sponsibility.
• Electrical interference, static electricity and failure of video camera or memory card
might damage the
data in the card. Therefore, it is suggested to transfer the data to
your
computer timely.
• Never take out the memory card or turn off the video camera when reading or writing
the data.
• Never put the card under high temperature or high humidity.
•
Never modify or tear down it.
