Board View
 The 4TRM can be mounted as a daughter board on the UNI.
 There is no separate line connection part within the 4TRM. It is connected to an
external line through the RJ-45 connector on the line connection part, located at the
left side of the system.

2.3.3 Voice Subscriber Line Board
This section describes the boards that offer voice paths for analog and digital subscribers.
2.3.3.1 8SLI/8SLI2/16SLI
The 8SLI/8SLI2/16SLI has 8/8/16 ports for analog stations. It interworks with the analog
phones via the trunk line to make a voice communication.
Major Functions
The major functions of the 8SLI/8SLI2/16SLI are as follows:
 Generates a ring signal of 20/25 Hz.
 Detects DTMF/dial pulse.
 Detects on/off-hook.
 Generates various audible tones.
