The components on the front panel of the 16DLI have the functions below:

Ports, LEDs Functions
P1~P16 Station ports of Samsung digital phones.
P1~P16 LED These LEDs indicate the status of the ports.
- Off: The station is not being used.
- On: The station is being used.
If the LED turns green, it shows that the P1-P8 is being used.
If the LED turns red, it shows that the P9-P16 is being used.
If the LED turns yellow, it shows that both of the ports are being used
simultaneously.
2.3.3.3 8HYB/8COMBO/8COMBO2
The 8HYB (Hybrid), 8COMBO and 8COMBO2 have 8 ports for analog stations and those
of digital stations. It interworks with analog phones or digital phones to make a voice
communication. The 8HYB, 8COMBO, and 8COMBO2 have the same function, but the
configuration is different each other.
Major Functions
The major functions of the 8HYB/8COMBO/8COMBO2 are as follows:
 Generates the ring of 20/25 Hz.
 Detects the DTMF/dial pulse.
 Detects on/off-hook.
 Generates a tone.
