Transformer throat connections (Figure 35 and Figure 36)
A transformer throat is used when making connections to a liquid-
filled substation transformer. All transformer throat connections
include flexible connectors between the transformer low-voltage
spades and Pow-R-Way III bus bars. For transformers with drilled
flanges, the busway will bolt to the transformer throat instead of
using a sealing ring.
