NOTE The following instructions are for the Eaton-supplied REPO switch. If a customer-supplied REPO
switch is used, it may not activate in the same manner; refer to the operating instructions provided with the
switch.
To use the REPO switch:
1. Firmly push the red pushbutton until it locks into place. The switch latches into
the activated state.
The input, output, and bypass backfeed contactors open, the battery breaker or
disconnect is tripped, and the power module is turned off immediately, without
asking for verification.
C A U T I O N
DO NOT attempt to restart the system after Load Off until the cause of the shutdown has been identified and
cleared.
2. To deactivate the REPO switch, insert the supplied key and rotate clockwise until
the red pushbutton releases. To remove the key, rotate the key back to the
vertical position.
3. To restart the UPS after using the REPO pushbutton, follow the procedure in
paragraph 9.1.1 or 9.1.2.
NOTE Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures for your location. The key should not be stored in the
switch. DO NOT insert the key until the fault is resolved.
