Instruction Manual
4.8 Getting Started
Chapters 5-13 of this document provide more detailed information on the various
applications of the i.LON 100, and describe the SOAP functions you can use to configure
them. You should review Chapter 5 before attempting to program any of the i.LON 100
applications. This chapter introduces and describes the i.LON 100 Data Server, which
manages the data points you will use to control your network. It describes each type of data
point, and lists the different ways you can create these data points and add them to the Data
Server.
Once you have created your data points and built the i.LON 100 Data Server, you will be
able to reference those data points when configuring the various applications of the i.LON
100. Chapters 5-13 describe the applications of the i.LON 100, and the SOAP functions you
can use to configure each one.
