1. Disconnect spark plug wire.
Installing New Remote Purge Bulb (Figure 6)
NOTICE:
Removal of some parts may be necessary to access
purge bulb retaining screws.
NOTICE:
Note orientation of purge line and return line on old
purge bulb ttings (E).
NOTE: Press purge bulb several times to purge fuel
from carburetor.
2. Depress latches (C) on both sides of old purge bulb
(D) and remove it from base.
3. Disconnect purge line and return line from old purge
bulb.
4. Connect purge line and return line to ttings (E) on
new purge bulb.
5. Install new purge bulb (D) onto base, ensuring that
latches (C) lock securely.
6. Fill fuel tank with fuel mix and tighten fuel cap. Press
purge bulb to check for leaks. There should be NO
leaks. If leaks are found, contact your local ECHO
dealer.
WARNING
If leaks are found, do not start unit or serious personal
injury may occur. Remove purge bulb, reinstall, and
recheck for leaks. If leaks cannot be xed, have unit
repaired by an authorized servicing dealer before using.

Installing New Purge Bulb (Figures1-5)
NOTE: Press purge bulb several times to purge fuel
from carburetor.
2. Carefully remove purge bulb retaining screws (A) and
retainer (B).
3. Remove purge bulb (D) from purge base.
4. Install new purge bulb (D) onto purge base.
5. Install retainer (B) and purge bulb retaining screws (A).
6. Fill fuel tank with fuel mix and tighten fuel cap. Press
purge bulb to check for leaks. There should be NO
leaks.If leaks are found, contact your local ECHO
dealer.
