2. Carefully pump grease into fit-

ting (A). DO NOT force grease.

Too much pressure will force

grease past seals and cause

damage. Apply 1 - 2 pumps of

grease every 15 - 25 hours of

operation.

3. Wipe excess grease from

around grease fitting.

Drive Shaft Assembly

Level 1.

Hedge Trimmer blades are very sharp. Touching them may lead

to severe personal injury. Avoid touching blades whenever pos-

sible, and always wear gloves to protect hands.

1. Remove gear housing locating

screw (A) and loosen clamping

screw (B). Remove the gear

housing assembly from the

drive shaft housing.

Parts Required: Lithium based grease.
