- Once the unit has started, check for abnormal vibrations and sounds.
- Disconnect the battery:
- Do not touch high temperature or high voltage components while the product is running.
- Turn off the unit when checking or maintaining the product.
- Turn off the unit immediately if anything goes wrong.
- A ten meter radius is a danger zone.

1. Clean before using. Use
a small screwdriver or
wire to clean the guide
bar groove (B). Clean
oil holes (C) with a wire.
2. Reverse the bar
periodically.
3. Check sprocket (D) and
clean the bar mount
area before installation
of the guide bar.
Replace either if worn.
Sprocket
1. A damaged sprocket
can cause premature
damage or wear to saw
chain.
2. Check sprocket when
you install new chain.
Replace if worn 0.5 mm
or more.
3. Check brake drum (E).
If it will not rotate by
hand, see your
authorized dealer for
repair.
Automatic Oiler
1. The discharge volume
of the automatic oiler is
adjusted to 7 mL/min
approximately at 7000 r/
min, prior to shipment
from factory.
2. To increase the delivery
volume, turn the
adjusting screw (F)
counterclockwise.
3. When adjusting screw touches stops, it has reached maximum
discharge volume. (13 mL/min at 7000 r/min).
