OPERATION
Checking Chain Tension
Chain Lubrication Test
Do not operate with a loose chain. Serious injury can occur.
Chain tension should be checked
frequently during work and corrected as
necessary.
Tension the chain as tight as possible,
but so it can still be pulled easily along
the guide bar by hand.
Hold the chainsaw just above a dry
surface and depress trigger switch to
half speed for 30 seconds.
A thin line of "thrown" oil should be seen
on the dry surface.

metal, plastic or any non-wood material.

against objectionable or
uncomfortable loud noises.
