EARCH CHANNELS
NOTE
Some options might not be supported by your DiSEqC1.2 motor. Please refer to the
user guide of the motor for further details.
■ DiSEqC on To select the DiSEqC1.2 option for motorized installations.
■ DiSEqC off To select the DiSEqC1.0 option for fixed installations.
■ Limits on To select the dish movement limits option by software.
■ Limits off To delete the dish movement limits.
■ Move dish To move the dish and find the defined SAT.
■ Fine tune To move the dish for best signal level and quality.
■ Set East limit To set the East limit by software.
■ Set West limit To set the West limit by software.
■ Go to reference
If you want to reset your DiSEqC1.2 motor, you can re-calibrate
the position of the motor with the command: Go to reference.
Allow the motor some time to re-calibrate.
■ Recalculate position If a DiSEqC1.2 motor is out of position, you can recalculate the
position of all programmed satellites with the command:
Recalculate position. Allow the dish some time to recalculate
the SAT positions.
■ My latitude To set the latitude for the installation site of the dish.
■ North/South To select the hemisphere for the installation site of the dish.
■ My longitude To set the longitude for the installation site of the dish.
■ East/West To select the hemisphere for the installation site of the dish.
■ Set East limit To set the East limit by software.
■ Set West limit To set the West limit by software.
■ GoTo X To select the GoTo X option for DiSEqC1.2 installations.
■ SAT To define the satellite you want to search channels on.
■ LNB To select the LNB that you want to use for the selected SAT.
■ TP To select a transponder, from the internal database, of the
defined SAT. If the signal indicator shows low levels, select
another TP that gives a better signal.
■ Position
(DiSEqC1.2 only)
Shows the database number of the satellite.
■ Search mode To select Auto (all), TP or Network to search for channels.
■ Channel type To search for All channels, only FTA or only Scrambled
channels.
■ Channel To search for All channels, only TV, only Radio or only Data
channels.
■ Move dish
(DiSEqC1.2 only)
To move the dish and find the defined SAT.
■ Fine tune
(DiSEqC1.2 only)
To move the dish for best signal level and quality.
■ Search channels Search channels does a channel search on the defined SAT.
■ Signal level To indicate that you receive a signal (signal strength).
■ Signal quality To indicate that you have lock onto the selected TP (signal-to-
noise ratio).
