8. HOW TO SET AND LOOK UP THE TIMERS
CAUTION
The timer does not start or program your video recorder (VCR). You also have to set
the timer of your VCR to the same time as on the timer. Please refer to the user guide
of your VCR how to make a recording from a satellite receiver. On many VCRs you
have to select the so called external channel (E1).
NOTE
You can not set a timer in the past.

F YOU WANT TO SET A TIMER
ONTO AN EPG EVENT:
1. Press the EPG key.
2. Select the EPG event.
3. Press the red key.
4. Review the timer settings
as retrieved from the EPG
event.
5. If required, change the
Date, Start and Duration
settings.
6. Change the Interval into
Once, Daily or Weekly.
7. Press the OK key to
confirm.

F YOU WANT TO SET A TIMER
WHEN THERE IS NO EPG:
1. .Press the MENU key.
2. Select User data - Clock -
Timers and press the OK
key.
3. Select a not used timer.
4. Make the required
settings.
5. Press the OK key to
confirm.

F YOU WANT TO LOOK UP,
DELETE OR CHANGE A TIMER:
1. .Press the MENU key.
2. Select User data - Clock -
Timers and press the OK
key.
3. Select the timer.
4. Make the required
settings.
5. If you want to cancel a
timer, select Interval = Off.
6. Press the OK key.

F YOU WANT TO SET A SLEEP
TIMER:
1. Press the MENU key.
2. Select User data - Clock -
Sleep timer and press the
OK key.
3. Select a duration.
4. Press the OK key to
confirm.

F YOU WANT TO SET A SLEEP
TIMER QUICKLY:
1. On the remote control
unit, press the SLEEP
key.
2. Select a duration.
3. Press the OK key to
confirm.
