Problem Possible cause What to do?
1. I cannot set a timer
because I have no EPG.
■ The selected program
supports no EPG.
■ Press the MENU key.
■ Select: User data - Clock -
Timers menu.
■ Program the timer
manually.
■ The time settings are not
correct.
■ Review the solutions in to
solve an EPG problem.
2. I cannot find the
programmed timers.
■ - ■ Press the MENU key.
■ Select: User data - Clock -
Timers menu.
■ Select the required timer.
3. My VCR did not record the
program.
■ You did not set the VCR
itself.
■ Set your VCR itself also.
■ The timer does not start
your VCR, it only switches
on the receiver so that you
can record the program.
Problem Possible cause What to do?
1. I cannot view or listen to a
scrambled channel.
■ The CI-module/smartcard
is not valid for the service.
■ Insert a valid CI-module/
smartcard correctly.
■ Contact your service
provider.
■ The CI-module/smartcard
is not correctly inserted.
■ Insert a valid CI-module/
smartcard correctly.
■ The software lost
communication with the
CI-module/smartcard.
■ Press the On/Standby key
two times.
