Problem Possible cause What to do?
1. I cannot set a timer
because I have no EPG.
The selected program
supports no EPG.
Press the MENU key.
Select: User data - Clock -
Timers menu.
Program the timer
manually.
The time settings are not
correct.
Review the solutions in to
solve an EPG problem.
2. I cannot find the
programmed timers.
- Press the MENU key.
Select: User data - Clock -
Timers menu.
Select the required timer.
3. My VCR did not record the
program.
You did not set the VCR
itself.
Set your VCR itself also.
The timer does not start
your VCR, it only switches
on the receiver so that you
can record the program.
Problem Possible cause What to do?
1. I cannot view or listen to a
scrambled channel.
The CI-module/smartcard
is not valid for the service.
Insert a valid CI-module/
smartcard correctly.
Contact your service
provider.
The CI-module/smartcard
is not correctly inserted.
Insert a valid CI-module/
smartcard correctly.
The software lost
communication with the
CI-module/smartcard.
Press the On/Standby key
two times.
