Introduction
The B-FOCuS model O-4F2P Optical Network Terminal is an ITU-T G.984
compliant device that receives voice, data, and video traffic in the form of
optical signal from the service provider’s passive optical network (PON) and
transmitted it to the desired format at residential or business premises.
Upstream traffic is likewise transmitted to the PON network via the fiber optic
cable. A single optical fiber carries both upstream and downstream traffic.
