How to use the iPod
When an optional iPod interface cable (iPC-409) is connected to this main
unit, it is possible to operate the iPod
®
with the main unit, and to display
information relevant to the iPod on the screen of the main unit, allowing
you to listen to the music or watch the videos or programs stored in the
iPod.
• iPod is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
• "Made for iPod" means that an electronic accessory has been designed to connect
specifically to iPod and has been certified by the developer to meet Apple performance
standards.
Apple is not responsible for the operation of this device or its compliance with safety and
regulatory standards.
• For the functions of the iPod, refer to the iPod User's Guide.
• It is assumed here that the iPod has already connected to this main unit with an
optional iPod interface cable (iPC-409).
• The iPod play function will only operate when the PND is connected.
• The main unit is not compatible with iPhone.
