LBP, Lead Based Paint Sealant and Treatment (Latex Primer). Used by residential and commercial contractors, painters, and home owners as a multi-use lead based paint
product that Seals and Treats Lead Hazards during Renovation, Repair, Painting (RRP), lead paint maintenance, commercial/industrial remediation and demolition activities

Note: This product is not a permanent epoxy encapsulant as
defined by HUD/EPA and is not to be used as a substitute
for a permanent encapsulant with 20 year warranty
PRODUCT APPLICATION
NOTE: Due to settling, prior to use, mechanically re-mix
thoroughly for 1 - 3 minutes per gallon. (Following
mixing, if needed, add up to 8 oz water per gallon)
Use on a wide variety of surfaces including (but not limited
to) wood, drywall, steel, masonry/brick, concrete and asphalt
Interior application use as a primer or as tintable topcoat;
Exterior application use as primer
Surface should be clean, dry and in sound condition;
remove excessive foreign material such as rust, grease, oil
etc. that could interfere with product adhesion. High gloss or
smooth surface may be prepared by we sanding or use of a
liquid de-glosser.
Initial testing is recommended by painting a 1 ft x 1 ft section
prior to full application to ensure satisfactory results.
Temperature of air, surface and material should be 50
o
F or
greater and surface must be protected from rain or moisture
until dry.
Dry to touch is 4 hours. Average cure time to apply topcoat
is 24 hours. Any application during periods of high humidity
or low temperatures will increase the amount of drying time.
Application dependant on use, lead-based paint condition,
and lead contamination:
- Primer/Top Coat: standard application up to 6 mil wet
thickness. If additional application required, wait 4 hours
(until dry to touch) before applying second coat up to 8 mil
wet thickness
- Demolition/Removal: typical single coat application up to
12 mil wet thickness
Product may be tinted with up to 6-8 oz of liquid colorant.
Product is pre-textured; light sanding with fine grit
sandpaper may be utilized if smooth finish is desired

Product must be stored indoors or under cover at temperatures

EQUIPMENT
Recommended application by roller or sprayer; if by brush,
test a small area to ensure proper brush selection. For
airless sprayer, minimum recommended spray orifice of .027
- .031 with all filters removed, mesh size 20 or lower, pump
size 0.70 GPM or larger

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
One gallon covers up to 300 sf, dependent on surface
conditions

No petroleum distillates or hazardous material

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Provide adequate ventilation - if you experience difficulty in
breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued
difficulty is experienced, get medical assistance
immediately.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin - in case of eye contact,
flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes
and get medical attention; for skin, wash thoroughly with
soap and water. If swallowed, get medical attention
immediately.
Spray equipment must be in good condition and used in
accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
The use of a respirator, eye protection, and protective
clothing is recommended.
Wash hands, tools, and equipment with warm soapy water
after use in an area that is safe for lead disposal; properly
dispose of resulting waste and wastewater as it may contain
lead.
