1. Application The desktop charger DCH is a station for charging one intrinsically safe mobile phone and one spare battery. You can charge the mobile phone or battery individually or charge both devices at the same time without increase of charging time. All of the following devices and batteries may be charged: Mobile phones: Ex-Handy 08, Ex-Handy 08 LWP, Ex-Handy 07, Ex-Handy 07 LWP, Ex-HSPA 08, ExHSPA 08 LWP Ex-GSM 07 and all complimentary generic devices.
. Safety regulations Use of the desktop charger DCH assumes that the operator complies with conventional safety regulations in order to eliminate faulty operation of the unit. The following points are to be observed: - The unit may not be taken into the hazardous area. - Do not dismantle the unit. It has no serviceable parts. - The unit should not be exposed to temperatures outside 0°C ... +40°C (+32°F ... +104°F). - The unit should only be used indoors and in dry areas.

Insert the relevant adapter plug that connect to the primary contacts (3) by pushing it into the housing slot. Please ensure the adaptor plug “clicks” audibly into the locking latch (4). ° m To charge the mobile phone, place it into the cradle (7), pull out the charging cable (8) and insert it into the lower 3.5 mm jack on the left side of the phone. To access the charger port lift the cover with the USB sign on it.
An adapter plug is not required for use in North America. Here the two-pin plug type UL (North America) must be unfolded from the mains adapter (6). lo c k oc kw i s e cl i -c wi se an t To vary the length of the charging cable, uncoil it counterclockwise from the cord wrap (9) of the desktop charger DCH. In case that the charging cable doesn’t fit perfectly after coiling it up clockwise, just press down on the cable slightly as shown in the picture.
6.4 LED for battery module status green Battery module is being charged LED off Battery module is fully charged red Error! Time out or Overvoltage. Disconnect the desktop charger from the mains power and remove the battery pack. Then re-insert the battery pack you removed.
