4. FIRST AID MEASURES
General Advice
In case of rupture:
Eye Contact
Immediately flush with plenty of water. After initial flushing, remove any contact lenses and
continue flushing for at least 15 minutes. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. Call a physician
immediately.
Skin Contact
Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing all
contaminated clothing and shoes. Call a physician immediately.
Inhalation
Move to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Avoid direct contact with skin.
Use barrier to give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Call a physician or Poison Control Center
immediately.
Ingestion
Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician or Poison Control Center immediately. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Notes to Physician
Treat symptomatically. May cause sensitization of susceptible persons.
