5.12.1. Using Contrast Imaging
1. Invoke C5-1Q or C5-2Q transducer as the currently active transducer.
2. Select ABD or Urology exam preset.
3. Perform the 2D image scanning, and obtain the target image.
4. Press Contrast on the touch screen and activate Contrast imaging mode.
5. Adjust the acoustic power or optimize the Contrast image, if necessary, to obtain a good image.
6. Press or touch button to enter Tissue and Contrast dual display.
7. Inject contrast agents, and press Timer on the touch screen to start timing.
When the Timer starts, the time will be display on the image.
8. Press the key to store the cine loop. The thumbnail of the cine loop will appear in the
thumbnails area on the right side of the main screen.
9. Press Timer on the touch screen again to stop timing.
10. If necessary, press Destroy on the touch screen to destroy the residual microbubbles.
11. Exit Contrast imaging.

Description
Timer
The Timer records the time since the injection of contrast agent.
You can use the Timer function by activating it at the time of
injection and deactivating it at the end of the exam. First press
on Timer touch button activates the Timer and second press on
it deactivates the Timer.
The timer is displayed on the Image. The timer stops when you
freeze the image, and a second timer appears above it and
continues to record the time. The second timer displays the total
time of this exam.
Display
formats
Only displays Contrast image.
Display Tissue image left and Contrast image right.
Display Contrast image left and Tissue image right.
Destroy
Press to destroy the residual microbubbles according to the
destroy power and destroy time you specify. It is a one-shoot
control.

Adjusts the transmit power provided by the transducer for
destroying the residual microbubbles.
