Transcranial Doppler and Orbital
calculations
The following table shows the measurements
required to complete Transcranial Doppler (TCD)
and Orbital (Orb) calculations. For definitions of
acronyms, see “Glossary” on page 167.
Transcranial and Orbital Calculations
WARNING:
To avoid injury to the patient, use
only an Orbital (Orb) exam type
when performing imaging through
the eye.
WARNING:
Verify that the patient information,
date, and time settings are
accurate.
WARNING:
To avoid misdiagnosis or harming
the patient outcome, start a new
patient information form before
starting a new patient exam and
performing calculations. Starting a
new patient information form
clears the previous patient’s data.
The previous patient’s data will be
combined with the current patient
if the form is not first cleared. See
“To create a new patient
information form” on page 36.
