Command Usage
The spanning-tree system-bpdu-flooding command has no effect if BPDU
flooding is disabled on a port (see the spanning-tree port-bpdu-flooding
command).

Console(config)#spanning-tree system-bpdu-flooding to-all

spanning-tree
transmission-limit
This command configures the minimum interval between the transmission of
consecutive RSTP/MSTP BPDUs. Use the no form to restore the default.
Syntax
spanning-tree transmission-limit count
no spanning-tree transmission-limit
count - The transmission limit in seconds. (Range: 1-10)

This command limits the maximum transmission rate for BPDUs.
Example
Console(config)#spanning-tree transmission-limit 4
Console(config)#
max-hops This command configures the maximum number of hops in the region before a
BPDU is discarded. Use the no form to restore the default.
Syntax
max-hops hop-number
no max-hops
hop-number - Maximum hop number for multiple spanning tree.
(Range: 1-40)
