lldp This command enables LLDP globally on the switch. Use the no form to disable
LLDP.

lldp holdtime-
multiplier
This command configures the time-to-live (TTL) value sent in LLDP advertisements.
Use the no form to restore the default setting.
Syntax
lldp holdtime-multiplier value
no lldp holdtime-multiplier
value - Calculates the TTL in seconds based on the following rule:
minimum of ((Transmission Interval * Holdtime Multiplier), or
65536)
(Range: 2 - 10)
Default Setting
Holdtime multiplier: 4
TTL: 4*30 = 120 seconds

Command Usage
The time-to-live tells the receiving LLDP agent how long to retain all
information pertaining to the sending LLDP agent if it does not transmit
updates in a timely manner.
Note that if the local interface attached to a remote device is shut down or
otherwise disabled, information about the remote device is purged
immediately.
* Vendor-specific options may or may not be advertised by neighboring devices.
