Default Setting
No default routing preference is sent in router advertisements.

Command Usage
When hosts make router selections, the setting can be used by the hosts to
select a preferred router when multiple routers can provide the same prefix
routing destinations.
The preference set with this command is transmitted in unused portion of the
IPv6 routing advertisements.
Example
Console(config-if)#ipv6 nd ra router-preference low
Console(config-if)#
ipv6 nd ra suppress Use this command to enable suppressing the sending of periodic router
advertisements on the VLAN interface. Use the no command to allow periodic
router advertisements to be sent.

ipv6 nd ra suppress

Console(config-if)#ipv6 nd ra suppress
Console(config-if)#
ipv6 nd raguard This command blocks incoming Router Advertisement and Router Redirect
packets. Use the no form to disable this feature.

[no] ipv6 nd raguard
