The Notebook Computer runs the Discover 3100 Software. This provides for control,
storage and display of the Tow Vehicle data. The data is presented on a gray scale
waterfall display and is stored in SEGY format on hard disk. A user supplied GPS with
NMEA interface strings is required for positioning data.

4.1. Navigation Interface
The following information describes the serial port interface parameters for acquiring
navigation strings from a connected GPS unit or integrated navigation computer to the
serial port. Edgetech supplies a USB to serial cable for acquiring navigation data.
4.2. Serial Port Parameters
The serial navigational com port is configured using the Discover Setup.
