As shown at right, select "Save
Settings to File" from the "Foot
Switch" menu, then select which
pedal settings you wish to save. A file
save dialog will open, so save the
settings file in the folder of your
choice. The file name is the name of
the pedal beforehand.
You may rename the file. The file
extension "edk" and the contents of
the file may not be changed.
(6) Settings can also be read from a text file.
As shown at right, after selecting
"Read Settings from File" from the
"Foot Switch" menu, select which
pedal the settings will be written to.
Select the configuration file from the
dialog that opens. You will need to
save the configuration file yourself or
get it from another user.
(7) A function experience mode is
available for those
who are considering purchasing the FS2 series foot switches.
Select "Experience the
function without connection"
from the "Foot Switch" menu, as
shown on the right.
On the left side of the upper half of the
window, red text indicates that you
are in the function experience mode.
If you click on the "Foot Switch" menu
again, you will see that you are in the
function experience mode, as shown
on the right, with the "Try function without connection" checked.
The function experience mode allows the user to experience standard and advanced settings
by being able to click on the standard and advanced setting buttons without the foot switch
connected. You can also use the functions to restore factory settings, save settings to a text file,
and read settings from a text file.
