wireless band you select (802.11b, 802.11n,
or 802.11g) will be able to connect to this
device.
If you select 2.4GHz (B+G), then only access
points using the 802.11b and 802.11g bands
will be able to connect to this device.
If you want to allow 802.11b, 802.11g, and
802.11n access points to connect to this
device, select 2.4GHz (B+G+N).
MAIN ESSID
Please input the ESSID (the name used to
identify the wireless device) of the access
point you want to connect to here. You can
input up to 32 alphanumerical characters.
Please note that the ESSID is case sensitive.
Site Survey
When you use this device to give an
Ethernet network device wireless capability,
you have to associate it with a working
access point. Click the Select Site Survey
button and a “Wireless Site Survey Table”
will appear. It will list all available access
points nearby. Select one access point in the
table for this device to connect to (please
see below).
Click APPLY to save changes. The following message will appear:
Click CONTINUE to save the changes but not apply them yet. This allows you
to make further changes in the browser-based management interface, before
applying them all at once.
Click APPLY to restart the device and implement any changes. The device will
restart itself.
