II. Edimax Pro AP Controller instellen De APC500 ondersteunt een centraal beheer voor maximaal 32 Edimax Pro Access Points en zorgt hiermee voor kostenbesparingen en een efficiënt remote AP-beheer. De APC500 is eenvoudig te installeren.
De APC500 Controller maakt verbinding met een switch of direct met een router, en andere aangesloten Edimax Pro Access Points worden automatisch toegewezen als 'Managed AP's'. Met behulp van de APC500 kunt u alle Managed AP's configureren, monitoren en beheren (tot max. 32 aangesloten door switches) vanuit één enkele AP Controller. Controleer op de Edimax website of u de nieuwste firmware heeft voor uw Edimax Pro producten. 1. Sluit alle AP's aan op een PoE switch die verbonden is met een gateway/router.
3. Sluit de APC500 aan op de PoE switch (LAN-poort) of gwateway/router (WAN-poort) en sluit de voedingskabel aan. 4. Sluit een computer aan op de APC500 met behulp van een Ethernetkabel.
5. Open een webbrowser en voer het IP-adres van de Controller in op de adresbalk. Het standaard IP-adres is 192.168.2.1 Het IP-adres van uw computer dient zich in hetzelfde subnet te bevinden als de AP Controller. Kijk in de gebruikershandleiding voor meer hulp. Als u het IP-adres van de AP Controller wijzigt, of als uw gateway/router een DHCP-server gebruikt, verzeker u er dan van dat u het juiste IP-adres invoert. Bekijk de instellingen van uw gateway/router. 6.
8. Volg de instructies op het scherm om Stap 1 - 6 te voltooien en klik op “Voltooien” om de instellingen op te slaan. Als één van de beheerde AP's niet gevonden wordt tijdens Stap 5, selecteer dan Beschikbare AP's en zet het beheerde AP terug naar de standaard fabrieksinstellingen. Kijk voor meer hulp in de gebruikershandleiding van het AP. 9. Uw APC500 Controller & Managed AP's zouden volledig functioneel moeten zijn als alle basis-instellingen geconfigureerd zijn.
III. Hardware-installatie III-1. Wandmontage De APC500 wordt geleverd met schroeven voor muurbevestiging. Verwijder de rubberen voeten aan de onderkant van de ACP500 door voorzichtig te trekken voordat u de muurbevestiging in gebruik neemt. 1. 2. Identificeer en markeer de juiste schroef plekken op de betreffende muur. Bevestig de ACP500 tegen de wand met gebruik van de meegeleverde schroeven, zoals weergegeven in de diagram. 3.
III-2. Rekmontage De controller kan gemonteerd worden in een rek dat samen met andere apparatuur in de kabelkast kan worden geplaatst. Om de switch te installeren, volg deze stappen: 1.Bevestig de montage-brackets aan de zijkanten van de controller (een aan iedere kant) en bevestig deze met de meegeleverde schroeven. 2.Gebruik de meegeleverde schroeven om de controller in het rek te bevestigen en schroef deze vast.
