III Adding Office +1 AP to Office 1-2-3 This quick setup is a guide to help you add the Office +1 AP to existing Office 1-2-3 high speed Wi-Fi network. 1. Identify the PoE Switch connected to existing Office 1-2-3 network. 2. Connect the Office +1 AP to the PoE Switch using an Ethernet cable. Please make sure the Ethernet cable is connected to the PoE port of the access point as shown below: If you need to, remove the cap from the underside of the access point.
IV Replacing Master AP NOTE: there can only be ONE Master AP inside your network. Use this procedure only if your master AP is down and need a replacement. This section will be a step-by-step procedure guiding you through replacing the original Master AP, where you will be upgrading to the Master AP’s firmware, followed by recovering previously saved system settings.

4. Click on “System Settings” icon. Upgrading Firmware 5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find “Firmware Upgrade”. If you haven’t already, please go to the URL link below to download the newest Master firmware: www.edimax.com/edimax_pro/download/Office1-2-3 Locate the Master firmware and click on the download icon to download. 6. Click “Choose File” to select the master firmware file. 7. Click “Update” to update the unit to the master firmware version.
A reminder message will be displayed, click “OK” to continue. The system will be updating, please wait… 8. After the firmware upgrade, the system will prompt you to enter the username and password, enter them (default username: admin, password: 1234) to proceed: 9.
