WPS Status
Displays “Configured” or “unConfigured”
depending on whether WPS Settings for the
access point have been configured or not,
either manually or using the WPS button.
Device PIN Code
Displays the WPS PIN code of the access
point.
SSID
Displays the SSID (ESSID) of the access point.
Authentication
Mode
The wireless security authentication mode of
the access point will be shown here. If you
don’t enable the security functions of the
access point before WPS is activated, the
access point will automatically set the security
to WPA (AES) and generate a passphrase key
for WPS connection.
Passphrase Key
Displays the WPA passphrase, though all
characters will be replaced by asterisks for
security reasons. If encryption is not set on
the access point, this field will be blank.
Config Mode
The configuration mode of the access point’s
WPS setting is displayed here. “Registrar”
means the device acts as an access point for a
wireless client to connect to and the wireless
client(s) will follow the access point’s wireless
settings.
Configure via Push
Button
Click “Start PBC” (Push-Button Configuration)
to activate WPS on the access point. WPS will
be active for 2 minutes.
Input Client PIN
Code
Input the wireless client’s PIN code here and
click “Start PIN” to activate PIN code WPS.
Refer to your wireless client’s documentation
if you are unsure of its PIN code.
For push-button configuration, please ensure you activate WPS on
the wireless client within two minutes.
The access point’s green WPS LED will display on for five minutes
to indicate a successful WPS connection.
