I. Product Introduction Thanks for purchasing the AV600 PowerLine Adapter with Integrated Power Socket. This versatile adapter allows you to connect to any standard power socket worldwide quickly and easily via your existing household electrical wiring, without the need for complex configuration or additional cabling. Please follow the instructions below to complete the setup. I-1.

Hardware Interface Integrated Power Socket Pair/Reset Button Ethernet Port Interface Integrated Power Socket Ethernet Port PAIR/RST Description The integrated electrical socket enables additional terminal devices or multiple socket to be connected to the adapter, just as a normal wall socket would. This is a Fast Ethernet port (10/100Mbps) for connecting to a computer or other network device with a network cable.
II. Installation II-1. Hardware Installation 1. Always plug the powerline adapters directly into a power socket. It is important to point out that most powerline adapters will not work if plugged into an extension cord or uninterruptible power supply (UPS), and powerline adapters work better when plugged directly into the wall socket. Note: Powerline adapters must be deployed in sets of two or more. 2.
II-2. Connect a Powerline Network 1. Connect a powerline adapter A to your router via Ethernet cable, and then plug it into a power socket. 2. Connect another powerline adapter B to your computer, and then plug it into a power socket. Note: You can also connect the adapter to a printer, set top box, gaming console, TV or any other devices with a network port, to add the devices into the powerline network. 3. Make sure that the Powerline and LAN LEDs light up on both powerline adapters. 4.

Pair and Encrypt Powerline Network with Two Adapters The PAIR button allows you to set up a secure powerline connection with another HomePlug AV compliant powerline devices which also support the PAIR feature. 1. Press and hold the “PAIR” button on both powerline adapter A and B at the same time for one second, the PWR LED will start flashing. 2. Wait for about 2 minutes while the powerline adapters are trying to connect.
3. The connected network device on powerline adapter C is ready to go online. II-5. Remove the Existing Powerline Network Press and hold the “PAIR” button on powerline adapter A for 5 to 8 seconds. Powerline adapter A will reset and restart. Note: The PWR LED of Powerline adapter A will momentarily extinguish during resetting, flash during restarting then illuminate steadily.
III. FAQ III-1. The PWR LED does not light up. ˙ Make sure that the Powerline Adapter is properly plugged into a power outlet. ˙ Make sure the power outlet is active (working) by plugging another electric device into it. ˙ Re-plug the Powerline Adapter to the power outlet again. If the Power LED still fails to light up, then please contact your local dealer for technical support. III-2. The LAN LED does not light up.
