III-10-3. MAINTENANCE – CONFIG BACKUP
In the normal application, there are several switches in the Network and they might be configured to the
same features. To facilitate this, the users can configure one of the switches and save the configuration
file to local host (for example: users' PC) or USB sticks and then restore the configurations on another
switch via "Config Restore" function. Configuration file in the USB can also have a way to fast replace the
device when it is damage.
Backup Configuration File

Backup to Local host
。 File Name
Specify the File Name for the Startup-config file, which will be saved to the local host.

Backup to USB
Ensure there is a USB stick inserted into the USB port.
。 Backup Running-config File
Specify the File Name for the saved Running-config file, which will be saved to the USB.
。 Backup Startup-config File
Specify the File Name for the saved Startup-config file, which will be saved to the USB.

(Save Button)
Click the "Save" button to save the configuration file to the Local host or USB.
NOTE: If the File Name filed is empty, the system assigns the default name as config-[datetime].cfg
