I-5. Resetten Als u problemen ondervindt met uw access point, dan kunt u het apparaat terugzetten naar de standaard fabrieksinstellingen. Hierdoor worden alle instellingen teruggezet naar standaard. 1. Druk op de resetknop op het access point en houd deze ten minste gedurende 10 seconden ingedrukt seconden. Laat de knop vervolgens los. Wellicht moet u een potlood of gelijksoortig scherp object gebruiken om de resetknop in te drukken. 2. Wacht tot het access point opnieuw opstart.

II-1. Passieve PoE injector Sluit geen apparaten die geen PoE ondersteunen aan op de LAN2 poort (PoE Out) van het access point. De LAN2 poort heeft een uitgaand vermogen van 48 V en kan een niet-PoE apparaat beschadigen. 1. Sluit de LAN1 (PoE In) poort van het access point aan op de PoE poort van de PoE injector via de Ethernetkabel. 2. Gebruik een Ethernetkabel om de LAN poort van het acces point te verbinden met uw netwerk: router, access point of switch.
II-2. AP-modus 1. Type het IP-adres van het access point in de URL balk van een webbrowser. Het standaard IP-adres is 192.168.2.2. Als het AP verbonden is met een DHCP-server, controleer dan of u het juiste adres gebruikt. 2. U wordt gevraagd om uw gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord in te voeren. Voer de standaard gebruikersnaam “admin” en het standaard wachtwoord “1234” in. 3. U gaat nu naar het "Systeem informatie" scherm zoals hieronder weergegeven.
De onderstaande instructies helpen u met het configureren van de basis-instellingen van het access point: - LAN IP-adres 5GHz SSID & beveiliging Beheerdersnaam & wachtwoord Tijd & datum Wij raden aan dat u deze instellingen eerst configureert voordat u het access point gebruikt. 1. Ga om het LAN IP-adres van het access point te wijzigen naar "Netwerk instellingen" > "LAN IP-adres" en u ziet het onderstaande scherm. 2. Vul de IP-adres instellingen in die u wilt gebruiken voor uw access point.

Om de beveiliging van de 5GHz draadloze netwerk(en) voor uw access point te configureren, gaat u naar "Draadloze Instellingen" > 5GHz 11ac 11an > "Beveiliging". Selecteer een authenticatiemethode en vul afhankelijk van uw keuze een pre-shared sleutel of een encryptiesleutel in, klik daarna op "Toepassen". Specificeer in het drop-down menu welke SSID u wilt configureren als u meerdere SSID's gebruikt.
5. Ga naar "Management > Admin (Beheer > Beheerder)" om de beheerdersnaam en het wachtwoord van de browser based configuratie-interface te wijzigen. 6. Vul de "Administrator Naam" en "Administrator Wachtwoord" velden in en klik op "Toepassen". 7. Om de juiste tijd voor uw access point in te stellen, gaat u naar "Beheer" > Datum- en Tijdsinstellingen". 8. Stel de juiste tijd en tijdzone in voor uw access point door middel van de drop-down menu's.
II-3. Managed AP modus: Edimax Pro NMS De Edimax Pro Network Management Suite (NMS) ondersteunt een centraal beheer van een groep access points, tevens bekend als AP array. NMS ondersteunt tot wel 16 Edimax Pro access points zonder extra draadloze controller vereist is, of 128 access points in combinatie met de APC 500 AP controller - wat zorgt voor een kostenbesparing en een efficiënt remote AP-beheer mogelijk maakt. Edimax Pro NMS is eenvoudig te installeren.
De OAP900 fungeert als een Managed AP en kan niet werken als een AP Controller. Bij gebruik van een Edimax NMS AP Controller worden automatisch alle andere AP's ingesteld als Managed AP's. In het geval dat de AP Controller uw OAP900 als Managed AP niet kan vinden, kunt u de instellingen automatisch configureren zoals hieronder: 1. Verzeker u ervan dat alle AP's, inclusief uw OAP900, verbonden zijn met een Ethernet of PoE-switch die verbonden is met een gateway/router.
3. Verzeker u ervan dat u één AP heeft aangewezen als AP Controller die alle andere aangesloten AP's kan beheren (tot 128 access points afhankelijk van het model). 4. Sluit een computer aan op de OAP900 via een PoE switch met behulp van een Ethernetkabel.
5. Open een webbrowser en voer het IP-adres van de OAP900 in op de adresbalk. Het standaard IP-adres is 192.168.2.2 6. Voer de gebruikersnaam en het wachtwoord in om in te loggen. De standaard gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord is admin & 1234. 7. U wordt doorgestuurd naar het Edimax Pro NMS Dashboard. Ga naar “Operation Modus” en selecteer“Managed AP Modus” in het dropdown-menu.
8. Klik op "Toepassen" om de instellingen op te slaan en uw AP Controller en Managed AP's zouden volledig functioneel moeten zijn. Gebruik Edimax NMS op uw AP controller om uw Managed AP's te beheren en monitoren. Ga naar de gebruikershandleiding van uw AP controller voor hulp met Edimax NMS. III-4.
3. Klik op Scannenom beschikbare SSID's te zoeken en weer te geven en klik op Selecteren om verbinding te maken met een beschikbaar SSID 4. Voer de encryptie-informatie in voor het SSID en klik dan opVerbinding maken.
