ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM CLEANER
• Remove the packaging from the appliance and its attachments.
• Always remove the plug from the power socket before fitting or removing accessories.
• To fit the floor brush (1) or small crevice tool (11) directly to the appliance, insert it into the
air intake duct.
• You can use the hose (2) and adapter (3) as extension.
• To remove the hose, pull firmly.
OPERATION
• Insert the plug into the power socket and press the on-off switch. The handheld vacuum
cleaner is very powerful – hold it firmly when turning it on.
• The wide brush is ideal for the daily cleaning of small surfaces, carpets, hard and smooth
floors, mattresses, sofas, curtains and wallpaper.
• The crevice tool can be used for the cleaning of heaters, radiators, corners &
compartments etc.
WHEN CLEANING IS FINISHED
• Stop the vacuum cleaner by pressing the on-off switch.
• Disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the dust filter and dust container:
• CAUTION: Always unplug the appliance before opening the dust container!
• Detach the dust container (4) from the motor unit (8) by pressing down the release button
of the dust collector (7). We advise you to do this over a dust bin.
• Remove the filter and empty the dust container.
• To clean the filter you can use your ordinary vacuum cleaner or you can shake it or if
necessary wash the filter in lukewarm soapy water. In the last case, rinse it afterwards with
clear water and make sure that the filter is completely dry before re-inserting it in position.
• Do not forget to put the filter back in position in the dust collector after having removed it
for cleaning. Do not use the appliance without filter!
• A damaged or very dirty filter should be replaced. Ask the nearest after-sales service.
• Attach the dust collector back onto the motor unit. Only use the appliance when the dust
container is correctly fitted into the appliance.
SHOULDER STRAP
You can attach the shoulder strap by attaching the loops in each hole (6) at the extremities of
the appliance. This facilitates the use.
