The EFI Remoteproof Paper 9180 semimatt for
use with both pigmented and dye-based ink, was
specially developed for the offset proofing
market. It is an ideal product for all applications
with color accurate demand. The very low
content of optical brighteners eliminates an
important source of metamerism effects. Due to
its neutral paper shade (LAB-Value: 95.59; 0.6; -
2.3) this paper is highly recommended to
simulate all common reference papers of the
offset printing industry. In most cases the
simulation of the paper white becomes
redundant due to the adjusted coloration of the
paper. The extraordinary consistancy and
stability of the 9180 matches all critical
specifications for remoteproof applications. This
media is compatible for proof creation according
to ISO 12647-7.
(By using the K3 inks, the gamut of the ISO
coated V2 cannot be covered in the magenta-
red-area. For this purpose we suggest the the
FograCert EFI Offset Proof Paper 9100/9200
Semimatt or grades EFI 4245 Semimatt/EFI
6225XF Semimatt. Please note: The paper types
ISO web-coated (PT3) and ISO uncoated (PT4)
can be covered in combination with the K3 inks.)
