If the special condition „OUT of scope“ (digital tacho-
graph is not required)
is enabled, the following will be dis-
played: “OUT”, current local time, and the symbol for the
digital tachograph mode.
Further information about OUT can be found in the section
"For more information on using menus, see the section
"General Settings" on page 63." on page 38.
3.3 Co-Driver Taking Over
When the co-driver takes over the vehicle, withdraw your
driver card from the left-hand card slot and insert the card of
the new driver.
Note
The driver card of the person driving the vehicle must always be
in the left-hand card slot.
Note
If the special condition „OUT of scope“ (digital tachograph not
required) is active, the condition is automatically switched off
after withdrawal of the driver card.
Co-Driver taking over the vehicle
1. Park your vehicle. Leave the ignition on.
2. Withdraw the driver card. Press key 1 for long

1.5 seconds to withdraw the card.
The display asks for the country where your journey

3. Use the cursor keys an
d to select the country
where your journey ends. Press OK. The list of
country codes is shown in the section "Nation &
Region Codes, Time Zones" on page 119. When
selecting Spain, the region
must also be selected.

YES and press OK.
