When driving, speed monitoring can be deactivated by
pressing the key  .
Note
Speed monitoring is automatically switched off when:
• A different card is inserted
or
• The vehicle starts moving without a driver card being
inserted.
3.19 Resetting the Trip Meter
1. Use the cursor keys  or  to activate the trip meter
display. The trip meter is identified with  in front of
the distance value.
2. Press key  to
reset the trip meter when the vehicle
is parked.
3. Press OK to reset the value to zero.
Note
You cannot reset the trip meter of EFAS if this function is deacti-
vated or if the setting should take place by an external device of
the
instrument cluster. Some vehicle types may support addi-
tional trip meters or trip meters to
be counted independently
from the tachograph by the instrument cluster. Please refer also
to your vehicle manual.

