7.4.2 Time Zone
The time zone determines the constant which is added to
the UTC time to display the local time. You may change the
constant in 30-minute increments.
E.g. for Germany, the constant is +1:00 h.
Changing the Time Zone
1. Select OK → Settings → 
Clock
→ Time zone
The current constant for the local time is displayed.
2. Use cursor keys and to select the required new
co
nstant. Press OK.
The new time zone is stored.
7.4.3 Daylight Saving Time
This function is used to display and to change the setting for
switching from standard time to daylight saving time.
There are two settings for switching between daylight
saving time and standard time:
• AUTO
– The digital tachograph changes automatically
between daylight saving time and standard
time on the last sunday in march and on the
last sunday in october.
• OFF –
Standard time is permanently on.
The left-hand side of the display shows if daylight saving
time or standard time is currently on.
Setting the Daylight Saving Time
1. Select OK → Settings → 
Clock
→ Summertime
The current setting is displayed.
2. Use cursor keys and to select the setting for

tomatic change-over daylight saving time – stand-
ard time and press
OK.

Press  to return to the menu.
7.4.4 UTC Time
Note
This function is used to display the current coordinated universal
time (UTC). The setting can only be changed with a workshop
card.
