8 Messages
The digital tachograph EFAS outputs different messages and warnings. The warnings are often accompanied by beeps. This
section provides a list of the most important messages and their meaning, ordered by subject.
8.1 General Messages
Display Meaning
The digital tachograph is refusing to eject a card. The card can only be ejected when the vehicle has
stopped and the display described in the section "Display and Controls" on page 14 appears.
You tried to eject a card while the ignition was off. Please turn on the ignition and try to eject the card
once again.
8.2 Driving Messages
Display Meaning
15 minutes before the end of a 4.5-hour period of driving time.
Take a break within the next 15 minutes.
You exceeded the permissible driving time of 4.5 hours.
Take a break.
