To disconnect from the current call and accept the incoming call:

Press R and wait for a dial-tone.

Press 1.
To place the first call on hold and answer the incoming call:

Press R and wait for a dial-tone.

Press 2.
Once the call is on hold, you can toggle back and forth between the two parties by pressing
R,2. To disconnect from the current call and reconnect to the held call, pres sR,1.
Enabling DIVA T/A Call Waiting using the Configuration Tool
The DIVA T/A Call Waiting setting is also available through the DIVA Terminal Adapter
Program, which you can run by double-clicking the
T/A
icon in the lower right corner of the
Windows taskbar. Once launched, double-click the DIVA T/A icon, then click one of the Phone
Port tabs. The ‘Call Waiting’ setting is available in the ‘Options’ area, as shown below.

Notes on Call Waiting Behaviour
The following situations apply if you are on the phone and a second call comes in:
If... Then...
ISDN Call Waiting is available
through your ISDN line
You will hear a Call Waiting alert.
Call switching is handled by your ISDN service provider.
ISDN Call Waiting is not available
The DIVA T/As Call Waiting is disabled
The second call receives a busy signal.
You do not receive a Call Waiting alert.
