Because of the wide variety of sizes, weights, applications, and building codes
these installation instructions are to be used as a reference and not as the recom-
mended methods. The installer should be sure to use common sense and good
construction practices. If there is any uncertainty about how to install this product
consult a professional.
Hollow Corbel
1. Attach wood blocks to surface with screws.
2. The top and back pieces of corbel will easily “slip” over wood
blocking strips.
3. Screw through side of bracket into wood blocks to properly
secure.
4. Use acrylic caulk to seal edges of bracket against surface
after installation.
5. Fill in any holes with caulk and smooth the surface with nger.
6. Let caulk dry. Once dry, lightly sand with extra ne sandpaper.
7. Touchup bracket with paint as needed.
Solid Corbel
1. Lay the corbel face down on a soft surface.
2. Apply a 1/2” bead of adhesive caulk all the way around the
back edge of the bracket.
3. When pressing the bracket up against the surface, some
adhesive caulk will seep out. Smooth excess caulk around the
bracket with a nger and apply extra caulk that is needed to
ll in any gaps.
4. Wipe off any excess adhesive caulk with a sponge or damp
rag.
5. Screws may be used for added support. If used, ll in any
holes with caulk and smooth the surface with a nger. Let
any excess caulk dry. Once dry, lightly sand with extra ne
sandpaper.
6. Touchup bracket with touchup paint as needed.
