IMPORTANT INFO
• It is highly recommended that you paint or nish the shelf with 100% acrylic latex paint before
installing.
• Once installed, you can apply any necessary touch‐-up paint or nish.
• For best results, we recommend installing the metal strip into studs for a more secure hold.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure to use the correct tools recommended.
Wear safety goggles.
Follow adhesive, power tools, and paint manufacturers’ instructions and users manuals.
Use common sense and follow good construction practices.
1. Position the shelf on the wall and mark the placement with a pencil using the
top line of the shelf.
2. Measure the metal strip 1 to 1 1/4” below your pencil mark. Use the wall
anchors and screws to secure the metal strip (piece not attached to the shelf)
to the wall. Make sure your installed metal strip is level.
3. The shelf is afxed to the wall by positioning the shelf over the metal strip
sliding it down. The shelf bracket and metal strip will interlock holding the
shelf rmly to the wall.
