1. MARK INSTALLATION AREA- Select the location for your
Decorative Millwork. Hold the millwork in place and mark
the location with a pencil.
2. APPLY ADHESIVE- Apply a 1/4” bead of PL Premium
Adhesive to only the portion of the millwork surface that
will touch the mounting surface.
3. FASTEN MILLWORK INTO PLACE- Press the millwork in
place using the pencil marks as guides. Fasten securely
with nails or screws. Countersink fasteners and ll holes
with caulk or wood ller.
4. FILL GAPS- If desired, caulk around millwork, lling any
gaps between millwork and mounting surfaces.
5. FINISH AS DESIRED- Sand any lled holes and touch up
with paint or other nishes, as desired.
Gable pediment decorations are screwed to the soft, the
bottom board of the eave. The fascia (eave face board) usually
overhangs the soft by a small amount. Gable Decorations are
normally installed below and immediately behind the fascia.
That is, they are mounted out from the wall, suspended just
behind the front edge of the eave.
