INSTALLATION DIAGRAMS
The installation surface must be clean, dry, flat and structurally sound.
Sand high spots on the wall if needed.
Clean the plank of any debris with a clean dry cloth.
Before installing, it is recommended you acclimate the wood planks in the room where
you will be installing them for 24-48 hours.
In most applications you may have to trimthe planks. After cutting, sand cut edge and
remove any debris before installing.
Depending on your installation method, use standard power grip adhesive and
supplemental nailing to hold the planks in place until the adhesive sets.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Make sure to use the correct tools recommended.
Wear proper protective gear.
Follow adhesive, power tools, paint manufacturers’ instructions, and users manuals.
Use common sense and follow good construction practices.
1. Select installation orientation: horizontal or vertical.
2. Using a level, draw a line for installing the starter
board. Install or cut second plank to get desired
shift.
3. Choose between adhesive or fastening installation.
- Adhesive: lightly apply a construction adhesive
and press the plank to the wall.
- Fastening: use thin nish nails (hidden head nails)
to fasten planks through the wood. Keep at least
3/4” distance from the edges of planks to apply
nails.
4. Stack and combine them for desired pattern. Some
installation options include leaving a gap between
boards or tongue and groove tightly together for a
seamless appearance.
