TAKING MEASUREMENT
Note:
Avoid smoking, eating or exercising for 30 minutes before making a measurement.
Do not move or talk during measurement.
Measurements can be made with either arm.
Sitting correctly
1. Relax
2. Sit upright in a chair with both your feet on the oor.
3. Remove tight tting or thick clothing from you upper arm. Do
not roll up your sleeve if it is too tight.
4. Place your arm on a table so that the monitor is at the same level
as your heart.
APPLYING THE ARM CUFF
1. Place your elbow on a table with the palm of your hand
facing upward and wrap the arm cu around your upper
arm.
2. Pull on the end of the cu until it wraps securely around
your upper arm. Do not over tighten the cu. Allow 1-2
cm or ½ inch between the bottom of the cu and your
elbow joint.
3. Make sure the monitor is at the same level as your heart.
HEARTBEAT READINGS
Besides Systolic and Diastolic values, your
pulse rate will also be displayed
after a measurement.

This unit allows the measurement records of a maximum of 2 users to be stored in dierent
user pages. Press ”paget button to switch between user page 1 and 2.

Making a measurement
1. Press the “POWER” button. The cu will automatically inate and the measurement will
start.
2. Press the “START” button. When the measurement is complete, the cu will
automatically deate and your systolic and diastolic pressure values and pulse rate will
be displayed.
3. Remove the arm cu and take note of your measurement results.

You can press the “POWER” button to stop measurement at any time
