D1200 12-CHANNEL DIGITAL POWER AMPLIFIER
The ELAN D1200 12-channel amplifier
utilizes Class–T Digital Technology for a
low-heat/high-efficiency design that can
deliver an unprecedented 1200W of
continuous power!
The D1200 provides 12 channels at 70 WPC
into 8 Ohms and 100 WPC into 4 Ohms.
The D1200 is virtually clip proof! ELAN’s
patented-pending ACE™ technology
(Automatic Clip Eliminator™) is a micro-
processor-controlled dynamic leveling
circuit that eliminates clipping without the
typical audio degradation of traditional
compressor-based clipping circuits.
Built with the custom installer in mind, the
D1200 has front panel LED readouts and
digital gain control buttons that allow you
to select channels, change gain settings
and match gains for accurate stereo
operation. The D1200 also features 12
signal presence and clip indicators.
Rear panel dipswitches allow you to
configure any of the 12 inputs for Mono,
Stereo, Bussed Mono or Bussed Stereo
operation. Two Stereo Bus inputs are
provided, each with buffered outputs.
These options eliminate the need for extra
patch cables and Y-cords. Six remote
trigger inputs mute the six individual
stereo pairs, and there is a master loop-
thru mute as well. The ultra-high-efficiency
toroidal transformer and 200,000uF
bulk storage capacitance ensures
that ALL 12 channels can
deliver the full rated power
at the same time!
