It started as a vision. To bring together over 400 Managers and
key Sales and Technical personnel from ELAN Dealerships, VIA!
®
Integration Partners (VIPs), and Sales Representatives from around
the world. To let them experience and participate in a truly unique
industry forum featuring a wide array of sales and technical
training, business education, inspiring keynote speakers, and
networking opportunities. Foster deeper, life-long relationships
with our Dealers.
On May 13th, 2004, this vision became a reality with the Inaugural
ELAN TRIO Summit held in ELAN’s backyard. From May 13th – 16th,
the Hyatt Regency and the Radisson in downtown Lexington, KY
were full of ELAN’s best Dealers experiencing a well-rounded,
passionate, and growth-focused program.
This first year has been incredibly successful, with TRIO being called
“the best event we’ve been to in years” by an ELAN Dealership
Owner. Dealers, other Manufacturers (VIPs), and the Press have sent
in feedback remarking how TRIO was an event they “would never
miss in future years”.
The 2004 first-annual TRIO Summit included internationally
recognized speakers who were carefully selected to share great
insights relevant to the specialty A/V industry, including Scott Hunter,
James Gilmore, and Giovanni Livera. Well-respected industry leaders
Bernie Sapienza and Steve Hayes also lead special workshops.
There were numerous breakout sessions, a Tech Competition for
prizes, an awards ceremony and a closing Saturday night Caribbean
party with live music, great food, and fun with the ELAN family.
TRIO will continue to grow as a traditional event for ELAN and
our Dealers, and will be held each year in May. Registration is
done online. For TRIO 2005, we hope to begin registration in
November of 2004.
