PRE-RIDE ADJUSTMENTS
MIXING GAS & OIL FOR GAS CHOPPER SCOOTER ™ :
Your GAS CHOPPER SCOOTER™ is equipped with a two-stroke engine. It is
REQUIRED that you ALWAYS premix gasoline and oil prior to filling the
gasoline tank.
Failure to use a premixed gasoline mixture will cause serious engine problems
resulting in total engine failure. If engine fails or seizes while rider is operating GAS
CHOPPER SCOOTER™, it could lead to an accident, injuries, damage to the bike, or
even death.
To mix your oil and gasoline, be sure that you have:
1. Unleaded Gasoline
2. 2-stroke" or 2-cycle Engine Oil.
*2-Stroke or 2-cycle oil is common and can be purchased at gas stations and auto
parts stores.
GAS:OIL MIXING CHART
FIRST TIME USE:
1. We suggest using a 25:1 Gas:OIl Ratio for the first full gas tank
(Refer to mixing chart for proper mixing amounts)
THERE AFTER:
1. We suggest using a 32:1 Gas:OIl Ratio for every gas tank there after
(Refer to mixing chart for proper mixing amounts)
Always use caution when handling gasoline. Always handle gasoline in a
well ventilated area away from any source of spark or flame (water heater,
furnace, cigarette, etc.)
IF THE CHOPPER IS EMITTING EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS OF SMOKE OR IS HESITATING
AND RUNNING POORLY DUE TO OTHER FACTORS, REFER TO TROUBLESHOOTING IN
THIS MANUAL OR CALL ELECTRA CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1-888-467-1234 M-F 10AM
- 9PM EST AND THEY WILL ASSIST YOUR IN PERFORMING A THOROUGH CHECK.
