SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Whilst this product is compliant with all safety requirements, incorrect or inappropriate use can lead to both personal injury and potential damage to property. Please read the contents of this instruction booklet thoroughly before fitting or using this appliance. • The cooker hood must be installed in accordance with the installation instructions and all measurements followed. • All installation work must be carried out by a competent person or qualified electrician.
• The air must not be discharged into a flue that is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels. • When the hood is vented externally and used with appliances which burn fuel (e.g. gas, oil, wood) the area must be sufficiently ventilated to ensure safe operation. Fresh air must be allowed to freely enter the room to prevent a partial vacuum. • A partial vacuum can starve the heating appliance of oxygen, impairing combustion.
INSTALLATION If you have an outlet to the outside, your cooker hood can be connected as below picture by means of an extraction duct (enamel, aluminum, flexible pipe or non-flammable material with an interior diameter of 120/150mm) 1. Before installation, turn the unit off and unplug it from the outlet. 2. The cooker hood should be placed at a distance of 65~75cm above the cooking surface for best effect. 3.
4. Install the v-flap and converter onto the cooker hood. Fix the expansion pipe on the converter using a cable tie. See Pic 3. Hang the cooker hood onto the hook. 5. Install the outside chimney bracket onto the outside chimney with 2 ST4*8mm screws, be sure the inside chimney can be flexed freely. 6. Fix the cooker hood with 2 ST4*30mm safety screws. Note: The two safety vents are positioned on the back housing, with diameter of 6mm.
START USING YOUR COOKER HOOD 1. Press the “Power” button, to turn the cooker hood on and off. 2. Press the “Speed” button to cycle between fan speeds, the LED display will indicate the fan speed with the numbers 1, 2 and 3. 3. Press “Light” button to turn the hoods light on and off. 4. Press the decorative lamp button once and the white LED light will be turned on. Press again to turn it off. Press and hold this button for 3 seconds to eneter the colour changing mode of the cooker hood.
TROUBLESHOOTING Fault Cause Light on, but fan does not work Both light and fan do not work The fan blade is jammed. The motor is damaged. Halogen light bulb blown Power cord loose Excessive Vibration Suction performance not good Solution The fan blade is damaged. The fan motor is not fixed tightly. The unit is not hung properly on the bracket. Grease filters clogged? Distance between the unit and the cooking plane too great. Switch off the unit.
GREASE MESH FILTERS The mesh filters can be cleaned by hand. Soak them for about 3 minute in water with a mild detergent and then brush it gently with a soft brush. Please do not apply too much pressure so as to avoid any damage to it . (Leave to dry naturally out of direct sun light) Filters should be washed separately to crockery and kitchen utensils. it is advisable not to use rinse aid.
BULB REPLACEMENT • The bulb must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons. • Always switch off the electricity supply before carrying out any operations on the appliance. When handling bulb, make sure it is completely cool down before any direct contact to hands. • When handling globes hold with a cloth or gloves to ensure perspiration does not come in contact with the globe as this can reduce the life of the globe. CHANGING THE LIGHTS • Remove the grease filter.
CHANGING THE COLOURFUL LED LIGHTS • Open the inner glass. • Find and dismantle the terminal of the light connecting wires as shown in a. • Use a screwdriver to unscrew the two screws on the -light cover, take out and replace the light as shown in b. • Reverse the procedure to reinstall.
INFORMATION FOR DISMANTLING Do not dismantle the appliance in any way which is not shown in the user manual. The appliance must not be dismantled by an unqualified person. At the end of its life, the appliance should not be disposed of with general household waste.
