8. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions.
9. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus
(including ampliers) that produce heat.
10. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has
two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third
grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided
plug does not t into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
11. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularily at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
12. Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has
been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been
spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or
moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
15. Apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and that not objects lled
with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
16. The batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the like.
17. The MAINS plug is used as the disconnect device, which shall remain readily operable.
18. The MAINS plug of apparatus should not be obstructed and should be easily accessed during
intended use.
19. The apparatus shall be connected to a MAINS socket outlet with a protective earthing
connection.
20. WARNING: To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or
moisture.
21. There should be a minimum distance of 5 cm around the apparatus for sucient ventilation.
22. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as
newspaper, table-cloths, curtains etc.
23. No naked ame sources such as lighted candles should be placed on the apparatus.
24. Please use the apparatus in moderate climates.
25. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied by the manufacturer, or sold
with the apparatus. When a cart or rack is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus
combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
26. Unwind and straighten the power cord before use.
27. Damage Requiring Service
Unplug the power cord and refer servicing to qualied service professional under the
following conditions:
A. If liquid has been spilled on or into the product.
B. If the product has been exposed to rain, water, or other liquids.
C. If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions, adjust only
those controls that are covered by the operating instructions. Improper adjustment of other
controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualied technician
to restore the product to its normal operation.
D. If the product has been dropped or damaged in any way.
E. When the product exhibits a distinct change in performance. This may indicate a need
for service.
28. Servicing
Do not attempt to service this product yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to
dangerous voltages or other hazards. Refer all servicing to a qualied service professional.
29. Replacement Parts
When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician has used replacement parts
specied by the manufacturer, or have the same characteristics as the original parts. Unauthorized
substitutions may result in re, electric shock, or other hazards.
30. Safety Check
Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to perform
safety checks to determine that the product is in proper operating condition.
